It is one of the nation’s largest parks and urban areas and encompasses parts of the Santa Monica mountain ranges. Residents love hiking and taking picnics here. Attend a live concert or event at The Greek Theatre, a historic outdoor amphitheater located in Griffith Park. This beloved community space hosts many celebrations. 
 
Families in Los Feliz get out and about at the Los Angeles Zoo, an exciting attraction with more than 2,000 animals. The zoo also boasts a botanical garden with more than 800 plant species. Numerous special events are held here throughout the year, including holiday festivities. 
 
History buffs converge at the ever-popular Ennis House. This Mayan Revival home is open for public tours. While the house sees a steady stream of visitors year-round, the most popular time to visit is during the holidays, when the home and its grounds are covered in lights.
